Ms.Brock's Third Graders used the Videolicious app to teach others how volcanoes cause erosion. They worked in groups of 4 with each student having a specific job: volcano builders, photographers, and videographers. They built their volcanoes out of dirt and leaves, then put the Coke bottle (volcano) into the base, then dropped some Mentos into the Coke, and observed, photographed, and took videos of the eruption and the erosion. The students in each group shared their videos and photographs with each other via email. Then they were ready to select the shots they wanted to use and to write their script. One of the great things about Videolicious, in addition to how easy it is to use, is the capability of self video. In the video examples below the slide show you will see that students can introduce themselves and their videos with this feature.
